MineralTree Honored as One of the Top 10 Companies to Work For in Boston

MineralTree full team

We’re disrupting accounts payable, and enjoying it every step of the way.

Built In Boston, the leading hub for Boston startups and technology companies, recently announced that MineralTree is among the best companies to work for in Boston. This announcement recognizes our overall success as a fast-growing Accounts Payable and Payment Automation solution provider by ranking us ninth out of 50 honorees in the small business category.

Built In Boston’s list of the best companies to work for in Boston used an algorithm to compare companies according to key factors like compensation and employer benefits, with each factor weighted equally. Among the many benefits considered were:

  1. Health & Wellness
  2. Financial Planning & Stability
  3. Flexible Work Environment
  4. Professional & Social Impact
  5. Perks & Discounts

Our 75 employees, most of whom are located in our Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters, have enjoyed a host of benefits that come with MineralTree careers both in and outside of the office. Among them are:

Free Lunch Fridays

This perk is the most frequently displayed on our company Instagram account. Every Friday, we order a catered lunch that is delivered to the office. Whether you have time to enjoy the meal alongside coworkers in our spacious kitchen, or have back-to-back meetings all day and can only get yourself a plate in passing, Free Lunch Fridays is an employee favorite. We order from a wide variety of restaurants around the Cambridge / Somerville area, and have tried everything from Korean bowls to a build-your-own burger bar.

Unlimited Vacation

We spend a huge portion of our lives at work, so why not have an unlimited vacation policy to help us recharge? At MineralTree, we are proud of the fact that we encourage employees to take time off when needed, ensuring that they feel appreciated and have a true sense of work-life balance.

Generous Health Benefits

MineralTree employees have a choice of coverage plans that are offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, and gain access to large network of physicians. Additionally, MineralTree covers up to 75% plan deductibles by funding employee HSA accounts. Employees also have dental coverage, and an option for vision coverage as well.

24/7 Gym Access

We value a healthy work-life balance at MineralTree. Employees have 24/7 access to the Exos Performance Center located across the street, which is complete with showers, lockers, and other amenities. MineralTree employees and Cambridgepark Drive tenants can also attend organized workouts every week, with classes such as pilates, kickboxing, cycling, yoga, and zumba offered at various times of day, and personal training options are available as well. If employees ever want to step away from their computers or just take a quick break, ping pong is another option to de-stress, socialize with colleagues, and get away from the computer screen.

Monthly Happy Hour

MineralTree has monthly happy hours at the office as well as different locations across Cambridge, MA. It’s a great opportunity for team building, discovering what’s happening on other teams, and enjoying a beer. We also love to host seasonal parties, including our summer barbecue and winter holiday party.

Prime Location

MineralTree’s convenient location, just minutes from the Alewife T stop, is readily accessible from the MetroWest suburbs via Route 2, and offers tenants amenities such as access to local bike paths, a fitness center (as seen above), and cafes. We also offer a substantial commuter benefit that covers parking or a MBTA/commuter pass. As the Alewife area continues to grow as a sought-after location for innovative tech and life science companies, we look forward to the growing restaurant, cafe, and retail options.

We are currently seeking talented applicants for a wide range of positions. If you are interested in applying for a job with one of the best places to work in Boston, you can check out our open positions on our careers page.
