Account Executive

Opportunity Overview

With a growing client list of business clients in the middle market and we’re looking to add an inside sales Account Executive to our organization to handle the demand. If you are passionate about working in sales and driving customer success, you should give us a call.

You will be responsible for managing an assigned list of business contacts, responding to their demand, and calling on them directly to generate more demand. The goal is to sell the MineralTree solution to business customers and guarantee that our customers are delighted by the product and customer experience.

Our corporate culture is one in which intelligent, energetic, driven, and vibrant individuals thrive. This position is based in our Cambridge, MA offices. Remote or home-based candidates will NOT be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead Point of Contact for any matters specific to your prospects & customers Once orders are received, the account is ported over to the On-boarding and Implementation team
  • Follow up with leads in a timely & professional manner
  • Work the phones with structured cold calling into named prospect accounts
  • Help qualify warm sales leads via online databases and outbound calling
  • Educate prospects on the benefits of our solutions in order to persuade them to take the next step in the sales process
  • Help from time-to-time with first-touch demand generation activities (digital marketing, tradeshows, etc)
  • Clear, concise and consistent follow up via e-mail
  • Proactively provide a thorough understanding of the company’s products, plans and services
  • Increase sales pipeline through lead generation efforts
  • Contribute to targeted marketing plans and other marketing campaigns
  • Provide constant feedback to marketing and sales managers on the effectiveness of different messages and campaigns (reports)
  • Utilize sales force automation in accordance with company policies (Salesforce.com, add-on’s, and dialer technology)
  • Create a superior prospect experience that sets the stage for future sales.  Navigate to key decision-makers, identify needs, generate interest, qualify and close on appointments

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of sales inside sales experience, telesales experience, other relevant experience
  • Track record of quota attainment
  • Background in selling SaaS is a plus. Background in ERP solutions a BIG plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn MineralTree’s software solution, & communicate, present, demo, and influence credibly
  • Must reside within the greater Boston area (daily commute to Cambridge) – this is not a telecommute-capable role
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Business Development Representative

As a key member of a close-knit sales team, you will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentorship that provides a foundation for your technology sales career. You’re the initial point of contact working with prospects to determine if our solution is a good fit. You’ll focus on scheduling high quality meetings and will have all the tools needed to find, contact and convince prospects how MineralTree benefits their business.

  • Help qualify warm partner prospect leads via online databases and outbound calling
  • Educate prospective partners on the benefits of our solution & partner program in order to persuade them to take the next step in the process
  • Help from time-to-time with first-touch demand generation activities (digital marketing, tradeshows, etc)
  • Qualify prospects to a few basic criteria before handing off to AE’s
  • Provide clear, concise and consistent follow up via e-mail
  • Proactively provide a thorough understanding of the company’s products, plans and services
  • Contribute to targeted marketing plans and other marketing campaigns
  • Provide constant feedback to marketing and sales managers on the effectiveness of different messages and campaigns (reports), as well as occasional feedback on our product
  • Provide regular forecast on key activities & results obtained. Ensure forecast and pipeline accuracy
  • Escalate critical deals in territory in a proactive and professional manner
  • Utilize supplied salesforce automation (Salesforce.com, plug-ins, dialer technology, etc) in accordance with direction from sales management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior business development experience preferred
  • Strong telephone and prospecting (cold-calling) skills
  • Understanding of SaaS/B2B high tech industry a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated
  • Able to learn & utilize SalesForce.com, plug-in’s to SF, and dialer technology

Chief Marketing Officer

Opportunity Overview

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the charge to make MineralTree a household name and will drive inbound traffic which converts to revenue. The CMO will be responsible for MineralTree’s lead generation and branding strategy through outbound and inbound marketing; including email, events, content, SEO, video marketing and social media. The CMO will act as an evangelist for MineralTree in the marketplace as a guest speaker at conferences and other venues.

Job Function

  • Define and drive the marketing strategy, branding and go to market approach.
  • Lead the team in competitive analysis, customer segmentation, market attractiveness and product positioning, resource requirements and pricing guidelines.
  • Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to communicate the positioning and value of the MineralTree product offering ensuring priorities are aligned with the business and market requirements to maximize ROI.
  • Ensure measurement systems are in place to determine which marketing programs achieve clearly defined objectives.
  • Work with Finance to establish and manage an appropriate marketing budget.
  • Provide oversight, direction, thought leadership and mentorship to the marketing team, as well as across the company.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fast-paced and high growth companies, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Expert knowledge in current digital marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to define and implement marketing growth strategies.
  • Proven strategic and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and mentor staff, and influence executive peers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
