Vice President of Customer Success

Opportunity Overview

We’re looking for a VP of Customer Success who is passionate about delivering an amazing customer experience from the time a customer signs, past renewal, and all the way through to becoming a strong customer reference. This person will lead our implementation, technical support, and account management teams to ensure the highest level of customer service for the MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay Software-as-a-Service application. Our ideal candidate will have experience overseeing all of customer success in a similar SaaS B2B environment – including technical support, customer on-boarding and account management. In this newly created role you will have the opportunity to further build out and lead our already excellent support and on-boarding teams to excel in defining the post-sales purpose, processes and systems. This role will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall strategy to build and develop customer support, account management and on-boarding initiatives to ensure MineralTree’s direct customers and bank reseller partners achieve success and value from the MineralTree products and services
  • Implement strategies and scalable processes to enhance the customer journey and drive customer growth, continued account development and success
  • Provide guidance and strategy for all Customer Support initiatives ensuring excellence in all customer support and technical support interactions
  • Design strategies within the account management function to grow revenue by developing excellent relationships while understanding customer needs, articulating the value of the MineralTree product and creating customer trust
  • Lead MineralTree’s critical SilverPay revenue generation operation by owning and driving adoption and revenue generation from paper check to credit card payment conversions
  • Measure and manage all analytics associated with product adoption, customer and product satisfaction, customer churn, etc.
  • Work with MineralTree’s sales, support, operations and engineering, as well as partners (banks, payment processors)
  • As the MineralTree customers grow and become more complex, focus on lifetime value to help ensure an excellent product and customer retention

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of direct leadership experience in technical customer support operations, account management and customer on-boarding within the SaaS and B2B space
  • Knowledge of accounting and banking processes within the Fintech space is a plus!
  • Deep understanding of Software-as-a-Service and recurring revenue business models
  • Experience using industry leading CRM, Support and Accounting tools
  • Experience leading post-sale operations and running customer enablement, training and on-boarding programs
  • Deep understanding of Customer Success metrics and how to measure them
  • Ability to analyze and translate data-based findings into clear, relevant and actionable insights
  • Proficient understanding of web infrastructure application development and architecture
  • Knowledge of Linux and SQL is a plus

Technical Support Specialist

On our technical support team, you will help our customers troubleshoot and navigate through processes and bugs regarding the MineralTree Secure Business Pay software and assist them with application support and troubleshooting while demonstrating the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical support issues for MineralTree’s customers and bank partners
  • Accurately document cases, including customer comments, proper categorization of calls and describing successful resolution
  • Work directly with customers to provide regular updates regarding outstanding tickets
  • Escalate unresolved support issues to MineralTree’s Engineering team
  • Work collaboratively with team members in other functions, such as engineering and sales, communicating customer feedback
  • Maintain and grow MineralTree’s knowledge database to ensure there is a future record of customer issues and “how to” resolve these with step by step instructions

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for solving technical problems and delighting customers
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and programs

Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

MineralTree provides the easiest to use Accounts Payable (AP) and Payment Automation solutions for finance professionals at growing organizations. We are looking for a DevOps professional to be the technical lead for our Operations team. As we are hosted in the cloud this individual must be completely at home with scripting and automation. Additionally, as a company that is handling other people’s money this person should have a high level of understanding of security threats and risk management in a corporate environment.

Qualifications:

Account Executive

Opportunity Overview

With a growing client list of business clients in the middle market and we’re looking to add an inside sales Account Executive to our organization to handle the demand. If you are passionate about working in sales and driving customer success, you should give us a call.

You will be responsible for managing an assigned list of business contacts, responding to their demand, and calling on them directly to generate more demand. The goal is to sell the MineralTree solution to business customers and guarantee that our customers are delighted by the product and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead Point of Contact for any matters specific to your prospects & customers Once orders are received, the account is ported over to the On-boarding and Implementation team
  • Follow up with leads in a timely & professional manner
  • Work the phones with structured cold calling into named prospect accounts
  • Help qualify warm sales leads via online databases and outbound calling

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of sales inside sales experience, telesales experience, other relevant experience
  • Track record of quota attainment
  • Background in selling SaaS is a plus. Background in ERP solutions a BIG plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn MineralTree’s software solution, & communicate, present, demo, and influence credibly
  • Must reside within the greater Boston area (daily commute to Cambridge) – this is not a telecommute-capable role
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior business development experience preferred
  • Strong telephone and prospecting (cold-calling) skills
