See You at the 15th Annual Chicago Payments Symposium
In a couple weeks, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will be hosting its Fifteenth Annual Chicago Payments Symposium. MineralTree’s founder and CEO, BC Krishna, will be there to share his thoughts on today’s most pressing payments issues, including real-world use cases, business models and tangible market solutions related to the B2B Directory concept.
BC will be part of a panel discussion titled, “Envision the Future: Business, Technical, and Operating Models” that will take place on Thursday, September 24. The session will examine why many corporations continue to rely on expensive and less efficient check payments. It will also explore barriers to electronic B2B payments and remittance exchange and provide detail around initiatives in the works for an open, industry-wide directory containing electronic payment identities. Such a directory is key to ubiquitous electronic business payments and could help ensure fast, efficient, secure payments that would benefit end users, financial institutions, corporations, and payment providers.
If you miss BC’s first session, don’t worry. He’ll also be participating in the Day 1 Reflections panel on Friday morning, September 25.
The Chicago Payments Symposium runs from September 24-25 and the theme this year is “Enabling Trusted, Ubiquitous Innovation.” The Symposium is a leading payments industry conference that brings together approximately 140 senior leaders from depository institutions, payments network providers, policy experts, academics, regulators and international experts, to discuss the industry’s most pressing payment system strategy and policy questions.
