MineralTree for the Win!
Last week, some of the most innovative companies in the Boston area gathered at an awards ceremony hosted by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX). The organization has a history of recognizing the most innovative technologies being developed in the region – and considering the area is known for developing breakthrough technology, there have been some pretty notable winners over the 19 years of this awards program.
MITX put on a great awards ceremony – we had a great time meeting other innovators and enjoyed the celebration. We’re truly honored that MineralTree has joined a prestigious list of MITX Award winners for taking home the award for Best B2B Technology in this year’s program!
We were up against some very strong competition from the likes of LogMeIn and NPR Digital Services, which were also finalists in the Best B2B Tech Category. The respect and admiration we have for these companies makes it even more special that the judges recognized the value in what MineralTree is doing and validates that our product is on the right path to making a big difference.
MITX describes the Best B2B Technology category as recognizing innovative technologies that have made it easier for companies to do business with their customers, thereby not only making their work lives easier and more effective, but ultimately their customers happier.
MineralTree is attacking a $100 billion national problem – the costly and inefficient everyday task of accounts payable and business-to-business payments. Every company has to pay bills, but the accounts payable processes they use and the ways they make payments (mostly via check) just haven’t kept pace with technologies that are powering businesses today. We know that we can make a difference for companies, their employees, and their customers, and it’s gratifying to know that the MITX judges think we can too.
Congratulations to all the other MITX award winners and the finalists in the Best B2B Technology Category!
